As I said in another post, I am new to mud motors. I actually am picking up my first one on Sunday morning, its a used kawasaki 29hp that's going to need some work. I talked to a friend who said that if the motor is crap he has heard of some people changing out the motor completely. My question is, can this be done and still use the kawasaki frame? The motor I am getting has a radiator. Anyone's thoughts?

Not sure on the year, I pick the motor up Sunday, I should be able to get more info on it then
