I'm looking at the wet sound speakers, Alpine stereo with a 12" Sub. and small amp. $1600 at Crazy Ralphs.
That would shake the river up very nice.

I installed 4- 8" bazooka marine speakers (2-way's) in my dad's bass boat a while back with a 400 watt 4 channel amp and a kenwood marine receiver. sounds great. I am planning on doing the same with my GTB whenever I get it.

I have the bazooka 6" marine coaxials and kenwood stereo. Speakers mounted permanently in back of front deck facing aft. Stereo mounted in Dual brand housing from BPS. Bought the 12 pin connectors from radio shack to take stereo in and out. Looks and sounds great. Stereo has USB port, Pandora, and IPod/auxiliary jack. Also has an option to connect a dash mounted remote. Really nice set up.

Sent using Morse Code from my not so smart phone.

Audio and truck accessories is what I do for a living. Personal opinion bazooka 8s best bang for buck if you have the room. I have them in a cooler radio. Jbl coaxial marine most durable. Wet sounds is great stuff but pricey for the good quality. I have an aquatic av I pod receiver. Tons of power and will play any device in a waterproof face. Ideal system if $$ is not an issue. Fusion msip600 head unit kicker zx350m amp, and four kicker 6.5, or if you really have the room alpine redline marine 7's. I put that system in a offshore contender and it was clean and f'n loud.

I have Four (4) 3-way 6x9's with a 600W amp pushing them in a 48Q cooler. Sounds bad ass when the motor isn't at full power

I have my deck in the electronics box on my T-Top, clarion i beleive. i put 2 6x9 in the sides of the console and they are loud as fuk! i run a 225 4stroke yamaha and the stereo can be heard and any speed.

only problem is when i put the speakers in he console, the magnets on the speakers threw my compass off about 20 degrees.

one more suggestion if your going to add accessories on your motors battery. add a second battery along with a battery swtich. Making your run with both batteries on and when you stop switch back to one.

if budget is of no concern, the best speakers are Babb Speakers. They are the only speakers ive ever heard that you can crank with absolutely no distortion at all. The ones i have retail for about $300 but if your serious about sound quality they will not disappoint. They are designed for marine use too.

My buddy has a total of 28 JL Audio speakers and multiple JL Audio amps in his 34' Contender. That thing is loud and thumps everything around it.

My duckboat has (4) 7.7" MTX Marine coaxials and (1) 10" MTX Marine sub and a MTX 2 way Marine amp (600 or 900 watts can't remember). It sounds damn good, but not nearly JL Audio good.
