 plastic trailer bunks?
Where are y'all getting them from? Should the ones on the side be replaced with the plastic compared to carpet? I am changing the bottom ones for sure just not sure about the sides.

I removed all carpet from my trailer the side boards will hold water and rust the fenders out.

If your boat has been coated in quick slick or something similar stay away from them. I had my hull coated in quick slick last week and within two outings the area where the bunks make contact with the hull were worn.

Boatdr can get you these. They are a plastic cover for your traditional treated bunk boards.

Not at all connected to these guys, but I have had HDPE bunks from Ultimatebunkboards.com on my last 2 trailers and would definitely recommend them. No worry about rotten wood or replacing carpet.

Good looking trailer :!: waiting on my rig, but went with an aluminum trailer and it will have the plastic covers over treated wood... The synthetic lumber that is available, looks like it would work well also.
Hadn't thought about any wear issues with a hull bottom coating though...guess I'm going to find out, as I will have gator glide on the bottom...
