Some more info for me to think about. Wanted to see what could be holding me back on top end. The transom on this punt is 15" and the bottom of the belt housing sits about 2-3" higher. I was surpised but I measured the transom angle and its 10 degrees. That's alot less then most I think. Could be the main culprit in my lack of top speed.

It's almost a flat bottom. A tiny amount of angle on each side. It's a bit heavy tho. I'd say 3-400 dry
