 Re: lights
I just got my 20" Rigid in and had to take it outside to fire it up to see how bright they really are... That thing is F-You bright! Holy crap. I don't have to worry about stumps anymore... just aircraft trying to land on me. Worth every cent in my opinion.

 Re: lights
They throw a beam to the other side of the lake/swamp/ whatever, and they are bright, stupid bright. My buddies always know when its me coming because they can see the lights before they can hear the boat. Now I am not knocking LED light bars, but you cant beat the distance of a 55w HID with a row of LED's. If I didnt have a pointed bow I would put a bar between the HID's and that would be one great combo.

 Re: lights
Just bought a Fenix hand held 800 frickin lumens. It will blind your ass at 200 yards. I've never seen anything as bright as this. One little bitty LED generates the light. Awesome. Don't know why you guys need fixed lights on the bow. I run without lights most of the time and only check my position relative to bank occasionally. In a fog you have to hold light near surface of water to see anything and sometimes you just have to stop and say its too risky.

 Re: lights
I run fixed lights on the bow so I can see when its dark. That way I dont have to hold a flashlight........
