 Wiring winch
Just curious how I should wire the winch on my new boat. I just ordered a gator trax rogue 2 weeks ago. I've read that some guys wire to a deep cycle battery and others to the cranking battery and just set the throttle wide open to run it that way. I don't have any levees to pull over or super long pulls that I will do regularly. Really I got it to help load the boat when the tide goes out at this shitty ramp I use fairly often.

 Re: Wiring winch
If you have back up recoil start on your motor I'd wire it to the cranking battery being that it'll be getting some charging
