They asked what the loan was for, I said personal and they didn't ask anything else, just gave me the money with out any problems or extra bullshit.

Yea unsecure and high interest. 9.9%. 36 months. But I'm not worried about the interest rate bc ima pay it off in no more than a year.

His payments should only be a couple hundred bucks a month. Anything over his normal payment will go straight to principal. Or should anyway. That's how every loan I've ever taken out worked... you are correct though that a large portion of his required payment will go straight to interest. Almost all loans are interest heavy up front.

Yea. Payments are 225 a month. If u get what I want for my 4 wheeler I will use that money to pay the notes

You're right. But the faster you pay it down, the less your interest payments will be too.

Obviously I didn't think the loan was a superb idea from the get go, but if u pay it down fast, you can do it without getting murdered on interest even on a loan like his.
