 Re: Led light bars
It's not as much of a spot as the normal combo lights but the pattern would be way more suited for driving. Not sure if you've ever seem a D2 Dually Driving pattern at night but its about 3 times the light and spread for $65 cheaper.

 Re: Led light bars
I finally mounted a pair of D2 Dually Driving on the front of my rig and it is unreal. Couldn't ask for any better.

 Re: Led light bars
Here are the beam patterns of the D2 Dually Driving, 10" E Series combo and SR 10 Driving and a 3D version of the patterns. This still does not show justice for the lights in person though.
The 10" E Series has a little more reach as a spot but the Driving patterns are the best to me for all around performance in the boat. It throws a concentrated "pancake" of light right in the middle that is bright. The SR Specter wasn't out when I got the 3 light set up. I went that route because it out performed the 10" E series for the same cost, now the SR (Single Row) is out, I think it's going to be the ticket. Much lower profile than the Double Row lights and provides a better side light for turns and such.
Lumens D2 Dually Driving = 3030 X 2 for a pair 6060 peak 20612 10" E Series Combo = 4200 peak 80769 SR 10" Specter Driving = 5625 peak 38265
The peak is the most intensity of the light, the E series has the highest showing it's mainly a spot light, the SR has more raw lumens with less peak meaning the light is better distributed overall..

 Re: Led light bars
Ran a 20" E-series style flood/spot combo light bar and a 20" SR-Series flood/spot combo Light bar. I have to say after comparing the 2 the dual row LED's out shine the single row in my opinion.

$169 on eBay. 8800 lumens. To give an idea of distance, that's my wife standing between those trees in front of that barn. The barn is about 60 yards behind her.

 Re: Led light bars
I don't have the link, but search " Cree 126 watt led". It is supposed to have a two year warranty, no idea if it will be supported or not. This one is 20" but the brackets are adjustable. It throws more light than the 20,000 lumen Akron SceneStar light I used last season, and that one is made to light emergency scenes on fire trucks.
Just put it on so I can't give details on durability.

 Re: Led light bars
I didn't have any where to point the boat to show the range, but it is very bright and I'm extremely pleased with it. Nice not to wear a headlight anymore! The spots in the center are very focused center and bright, and the floods on the outside have about 100-120 degrees coverage if I had to guess. At the camp this weekend a good friend of mine had his boat out there with a 10" (I think10") rigid, and I found the spots were comparable, but I found my floods covered more area. His quality I'm sure is much better than mine, but it's 1/3 the cost. If I get two years or so out of it I'm happy.

 Re: Led light bars
Do I run the 20" e series combo ..... Or do I run a 10" e series spot with a D2 on each side of the bar? What is going to be the better set up?

Cool, I thought about a weighted swing so its always the level you want it but never messed with it.

 Re: Led light bars
I run my rigid off the panel. I have the stock switch installed under my extended deck so I can turn it off up there if I need to for some reason.
