 Copperhead 23 Doesn't copperhead make a 23. The biggest I see on there website is a 18. Does a copperhead have neutral? What would be the best size boat for a 23 if the make one.

Re: Copperhead 23 Yes they make a 23. I would put it on a 16x42. They haven't updated their website in a while. Cottonmouth boats has tested the 23 on some of their boats so if you in the market definitely check them out.

Re: Copperhead 23 Copperhead does make a centrifugal clutch option. I've got it on my 18. Works pretty good. Similar to a gokart. Squeeze the throttle and she starts spinning. My only complaint is that it can be hard to keep it at a low speed in gear, sounds like the clutch is grinding when you don't give it enough juice.

Re: Copperhead 23 yea gil told me that is why they did away with them. It is designed to engage at 1200 rpms i believe, so when people would barely hold the throttle just above idle for any extended period of time it would burn the clutch up
