 subaru 40hp engine??? so how long is it going to take gatortail to mount up a 40hp robin Subaru engine onto one of their frames? they seemed to have good success out of the 25hp fuel injected engine, why not move up to a Subaru big block?

Re: subaru 40hp engine??? Give it a couple more seasons. They will have big block efi.

Re: subaru 40hp engine??? yeah I just hope its not a briggs big block FI. I am tired of dealing with briggs problems. had a cracked case with a mild stage one(heads, cam and exhaust) with 300hrs (bought the engine used and did the work to it). I know people say its not that bad but damn this is the second block I've had let loose and im about sick of it

Re: subaru 40hp engine??? MB has one on one of their frames. Boat Doctor ran circles around it wif a stock Briggs on a very similar boat. He was not impressed wif it for it being 40hp.
