 Used motors Am I the only one whose mind is blown by the insane pricing being asked for used motors/rigs. Why on earth would anyone pay almost the same price as a new motor/rig for a used one? Especially when the new motor has a warranty and is guaranteed to not be abused.

Re: Used motors with the new GTR EFI out people are dumping their motors like crazy and trying to get New prices for their motors so they can afford the EFI. That's why I been calling them out on it.

Re: Used motors Since the used market is getting flooded right now, are these guys gonna be able to dictate the price or is it gonna make the price of them fall bc there's so many available? All it takes is a few guys selling them at a fair price and then the others will have to follow suit and take their loss instead of ripping someone. At least that's my hope since I'm in the market for a used 35 hp SDMM.

Re: Used motors I look at it like this, a 10-30% reduction the first year based on condition/appearance and 10% for every 100 hrs after that. You can pretty much figure there going to need a valve job right of the bat.
