Re: Wife working on the duck boat
Gotta love a wife who'll do that for you. Just a note of curiosity: who did the drywall and electrical wiring in your workshop? I counted 7 parallel conduits and thin mud on the drywall seems.

Mine helps do everything she can. Hell, I even taught her how to drive in case I can't do it or she has to for some other reason. Still working on backing the trailer but she is getting better. Just a little help is nice sometimes

Re: Wife working on the duck boat
My gf can drive, hell she helped me put motor completely together. Of course she was amazed with the piston ring compressor ..... I know right. In all she does well, just trying to get her to start shooting. Once I get a small 20 gauge and she finishes her hunter ed.

Yalls heat ain't that bad. I spent a summer with my buddy in Manhattan , I'll swap mosquitoes or heat with Yall any day ! Anyway back to the thread. It would be nice for the ole lady to help me work on my boat if she plans on riding in it lol

It never got cold enough last year in south/central Florida to give us a mosquito break.

Re: Wife working on the duck boat
My wife helps load the boat, backs the trailer in, parks the trailer, sets decoys, picks them up, she never says no if I ask her to do something. She grew up hunting, so I contribute her helping to that. Oh and she loves driving the boat.

Re: Wife working on the duck boat
I don't have the patience to let my girlfriend work on anything.. I am too much of a perfectionist... But in your situation you take all the help you can get!! I tried to teach mine how to hunt she just isn't interested and doesn't want to go because it's "my thing" and doesn't want to bother me while I'm out there. Don't know if thats a blessing or a curse..

Re: Wife working on the duck boat
In my post I clearly stated gf, so I totally understand where the guys with family are getting at. However, mine has not ate a wedding cake, so she is still sane. The Damn wedding cakes make them start complaining more and putting out less.
