Post Pirogue builders
I have 2 used pirogues that both have an ID number, model number , serial number or whatever you want to call it. One is stamped in the fiberglass and the other is a metal tag. I'm trying to get them registered so I don't have problems with GW if I have a trolling motor. I know some say you don't need it but I'd like to get it done.
My question is who are some pirogue builders in LA?
I know the big names like Ron chapman, paw paws pirogues, critter getters. I'm wondering if there are other builders out there that stamp their pirogues with some kind of number to identify them as to who made it.

If it was built by a USCG certified builder it will have a MIC which is the first three letters of your HIN. You can look on uscgboating.org under manufactures and find out who built them. If that's what your asking about.
