Post Need help on removing stumps
I have about 150 yards of submerged stumps I have to traverse on my lease and I’m wondering if anybody had any good ideas on removing submerged stumps or if anyone has had to do that in the past. Any help would be appreciated guys

Post Re: Need help on removing stumps
Had a guy out of Alexandria with a bucket boat do some work for me last year, mostly dealing with aquatic vegetation but he pulled up several dozen live tupelo trees in about 4 feet of water. Good guy, easy to deal with. Looked at our stuff for free before he hired on just to be sure he could do the work. I can send you his contact info later today if you're interested.

Yeah man, I would appreciate that. That might be the easiest solution. It’s only about 150 yard pass, no big trees, just stumps from an old wood area that was there years ago

Wait till the water is higher. That'll be the cheapest option.

Even now with the water high, you hit a lot of stumps. All I want to do is cut a path to my other ponds. The stumps are hell on the equipment and the prop. I must say, the gatorglide helps a lot to not get stuck on the stumps and roll off

I heard if you reverse into a stump, a good MM will work like a stump grinder.

I wonder if you can rent one of those hydraulic chainsaws? That may be the best option man, and the cheapest

Call around, I always called the demo company for stuff like that. Don't know how much they cost, just know they exist.
