I'm scrolling thru various topics, catching up on the innovative MM Industry & I notice may folks have a negative opinion of Mud Buddy. No need for a "Ford vs Chevy" debt, but is there a current product or service issue with this company?

They are all afraid that Mudbuddy will continue to be better than their beloved Gatortails and Prodrives.

I've never delt with them so I don't really kno first hand. Few of my friends have them an they are always broken an on hold on the phone. Cs sucks a donkey dik an until this revolutionary motor comes out so does mudbuddy

Funny thing is I own a sport and have never had any problems with the drive portion of the MB...... Ever. I've ordered parts from MB proper and from a couple different dealers and have always get awesome customer service, prompt delivery and quality replacement parts? But op you see the MB motors aren't made in La. There of course made in Utah. According to the professionals on this site no one can build a mud motor unless your from Louisiana. Because of course there isn't any mud in any other state.
I would say its nothing personal they love to hate on everyone the same, but I think some of them do have a personal vendetta against mb, the owner, the workers and anyone who owns, has owned or thought about buying one. I'd put my MB sport against any similarly modded mm regardless of brand, any where, any terrain. It has been a beast of a frame and they almost all run the Briggs big block v twin. There are a few kohlers and Kawasaki motors out there. So don't read to much into the he man MB haters club. Ain't nothin but a thing chicken wing.

Cause turdbuddy is junk and most of us has had bad dealings waaaaayyyyy back with them

From the first Muddi Gras the mm manufacturers except GD would have some type of get together either at their shop or at some type of building. We would be told that Pro Drive was having a open house and fish fry, Gatortail was having a open house and dinner and Mudbuddy was having a get together and dinner. You could go to Prodrive and eat fish and walk around the shop while the guys there answered questions and showed you their products and talk about whats coming out in the near future. Gatortail the same. Mudbuddy had a dinner and get together and YOU could go there and meet the guys and talk mudmotors and hunting until you were blue in the face.
Good times had by all.
As a matter of fact TonyB and myself had a nice conversation at Caddo this year about having a mudmotor event where the manufacturer could bring their boats and motors for all to see and try. A festival of some sort.
Some dislike every other mudmotor except the one they drive. Sad but true. When it comes to your money spend it as you see fit. If your happy with your choice then the rest should be irrelevant.
My buddies have GD,PD,GT and MB. Who cares we all have fun running around and access hunting areas most only wish they could hunt.
As far as GD you can go there anytime and get the 'grand tour'. I have taken it several times and look forward to the next tour. I know the others have the 'grand tour' too.
No MB hater here.

No, I have not scrolled thru that threat, but I do associate your profile with some of the most informative technical post. I recognize where you're coming from understand your frustration. Thank you for sharing your invaluable knowledge of surface drive motors and advancing the industry.
Look, you guys (PD, MB, GT, GD) are running a tight race in an emerging market. In a relatively short time period MM's are responsible for the most profound impact on waterfowl hunting in the last fifty years, outside of good & bad conservation efforts. MMs have changed the way we access and utilize shallow water fisheries along the Gulf Coast and created an alternative low impact outdoor activity with the meets and fun runs. Point being, this ain't no backyard business anymore, but a new multi-million dollar nitch in a billion dollar industry. A nitch not created by Mec, Yam Hond or Suz; but local businesses that know their customer’s needs.
Promote brand loyalty, innovation and develop sound competition. If the focus is "mud slinging" and getting lawyer up, the Mec/Yam/Hond will eat this market alive. Next we pay double for cookie cutter crap and we all lose. Thanks again for your input and replies.

I agree with Netman here... I have friends that drive every brand out there. They all have good & bad points. There are not many people I have met at rides or anywhere that I personally don't like. All the smack talk is part of the fun. Spend your money where you wish and have fun.
