what the crap....did anyone actually think this would stick in court? I did until all t he mini surface drives and "no name" surface drives started popping up everywhere 4 years back. Then I realized and found out how gray the patents are. Sucks to see GT drop a patent but I hope Kyle gets back in with a solid patent(s) so 5-10-20 years down the road a big corporation comes in a takes the market away from all the little guys.

I also wish that PD, GD, GT, MD and American Airboat would go back to building 25-50 motors a year so every swinging dick wouldn't have one!!!!!

From the research I've done..PD came to market in 2003..followed by the MB Hyperdrive in 2004. In 2005 Mud Buddy released the Sport and Gtail came into the market with their GT35 and GT23. So following that chronology, I'd say PD was first in the market with a short tail mm, ( gear driven) First belt drives were introduced by MB then Gtail and finally GD in 2008 I believe. I also agree that who gives a shit who did what first . But it appears to be "bragging rights" to some tards. What I do know is that MB nor PD nor GD ever tried to sue one of their competitors over their respective motor designs. But Gtail had to be a little bitch and look what it cost them
