Would y'all rather get up early in morning and head out to "your spot" and find 4 boats jockey for position, or know that you will have a definite spot when you arrive? Conflicts resolve for you before you go to be the night before...sleep later, peace of mind.

I gots slow boat i just leave alittle earlier, its called having a backup spot or to. To this day ive never been without a place to hunt when the sun came up on me. Your idea lacks any type of possiblity or concept, you could not enforce this at all.

So this is the source of the Hate Dguidry treads.

1st) Indian Bayou is a U.S.A.C.O.E. owned and operated area.

2nd) Most of the spots I hunt nobody wants to b/c they require to much work for the results. Me being lazy by nature will occasionaly wimp out and hunt the easy spots.

Yes, this makes absolutely no sense. I agree with all posted about having more regulations to hunt. We do no need anymore. It already costs a fortune for me to pay a hunting lease, fuel for my boat, fuel for my truck, license's, shells, and time to travel and scout. Like I want to have my time hampered with having to log in to a fukin website to give the next door neighbor who I cannot stand a fair chance to hunt. Honestly the idea might work in a hunting club, which everyone should know where they are hunting for safety reasons, BUT a public area is first come first serve. You take a risk hunting public land for your spot and your safety. I have a spot I hunt in Indian Bayou and i have come across people going to it aswell, I walk faster and make sure i setup first. It's something we all have to deal with when hunting public land. Seriously if you dont like that, either quit hunting or join another lease.

I have just 1 question for Guidry. Why doesn't a successful lawyer like you have your own private lease?

Here in Texas on the WMA we have a check station that everyone reports too on certain days of the week. They have a huge aerial map set up and when you feel out your information on the sign in sheet they give you a sticker with you hunting party number on it and you put that sticker on the map where you are going to hunt and you go hunt. Very well maintained but you still have the dishonest hunters that never hunt where they put their sticker.

Now you putting a website out about picking spots and hunting them certain spots is like putting Locks on your doors at your house, It only keeps the honest man out.
