I used to say that same chit robin says. "I don't need a clutch or power trim or reverse, that's just something to break". Well someone's just in denial. Oh, and my Gator Tail rig does run 30mph. It's on the review of my new boat. Video camera and gps doesn't lie.

Just watch the YouTube vid. My gps is in a mount, so I'm not moving it around to gain mph. It runs 30 consistent. Now that is by myself. Last weekend I had a friend with me and we ran consistent 29-30. Water was out on the flats we were in 6" to 12" of water depth.

My stock gtr on a .125 16x48 would run 29-30 consistently, just saying.

you only notice 2 MPH difference when you are running side by side for an extended period of time. Who takes 2 boats to one blind anyways? I am not saying this because i drive a pd either. i know mine is a little slower and i am fine with that. just don't know how some people (coughrobincough) are driving ford pinto's but insist it better than a Mercedes. Maybe one day i will getting enough education to understand

to be a lemon it has to be manufacture defect. I have had one problem with my motor. i ran into a pole underwater. Hit it WTFO sideways and bent the skeg.

oh, I'm still here, I had a meeting last night, sorry I could not get in the forum and read what y'all were saying. I'm very stuck on what to get, I guess I'll just have to stick to my old 50 merc for now. maybe get a mudboat later. just tired of phucking with water lillies all the time and not being able to cut through them. future brud in law working on having his pudna with his mudboat (super go-devil) with a big block

4 years in salt water. Mine hasnt rusted, peckerhead. At least mine isnt succeptible to melting.[/quote]
Aluminum clutch cover will keep the aftermarket exhaust from melting the clutch cover, peckerhead  My GD power trim (hand power) seemed to freeze up and would get really hard to operate at times. Pushing that trim button is much easier. GD could offer at least neutral for safety purposes. Clutches don't go out very often.
