What are yall's thoughts on the transmission? Is this gonna open doors for more horsepower? I was always under the assumption that the weak link was the electric clutch. Could this allow for bigger air cooled engine/ outboard type speed. Handle and move like an outboard but run the mud flats and stumps. What's your thoughts?

The gt owners problem with the new motor is that now when someone ask which motor to get they can't say don't get a mb because it don't have reverse. And for the gt owners that thinks it looks like a pd, a gt looks a lot more like a mb than the new mb looks like a pd...

if its right the new mb is a flat shaft like thier motors now pd still is a 16" angle this might be a cool motor

They're offering it in 28" and 32"

Longer shaft option will be available in the future.

I dont think MB even has a complete unit built yet. All the pictures you see have little things different to each one. One has a partially rounded cave plate, one has a flat one...one has the shift lever on the port side, one on the starboard, etc....If they had one built, why wouldnt they show real pics of it rather than one that had a high/low gear that they scrapped. For someone saying that this unit is going to be the best mm on the market is just stupid. All that has been shown is CAD drawings and half completed units.. I really hope it turns out to be a good motor, but it is to early to tell.

No matter what you put a vertical motor on everyone is going to say it looks like a PD. Not much you can do about that.

The more pics I see of it the more it don't look like a Pd!! The first pics the ones that went poof made it look like a Pd!! This motor looks like it will work specially with a long shaft

I hope the motor performs great. I can't wait to see it in action & I hope they would consider bringing a prototype out to SETX. However, I'm sure it's still a closely guarded secret & that would never happen. MB has been missing out for years by not having reverse. I will be eager to see how it fairs in the SETX mud and trim angles it can reach once the motor is finally released.

I wonder how much of it is fabbed up overseas?

Turbo I'm not gonna lye about it just cause I'm a gt guy and I'm not gonna lye when I say I don't think it will perform on the side of a Gtr especially in the mud!! Does it have it's place I'm sure as for as running in SETX mud I think it will truggle!! As for as trimming down with a Gtr I find with my 32" shaft it's goes to deep you have to watch how you trim it!!
