 Corrosion from treated trailer boards?

Finally had a chance to get under my hull to see if anything was going on. All I saw was little off color areas where some corrosion was taking place. It just looked like the aluminum wasn’t shinny in those places anymore. There were only a few places along the boards this was taking place. There weren’t any pits or real damage I could see. My bunks are covered in carpet and it only sees freshwater. I don’t doubt that corrosion takes place but it must be a really slow process. I did buy bunk slicks you screw on top of the boards to get the boat up off the boards just to be safe.
