Reload and cast my own bullets, only 9mm I've owned that will feed anything I put in it. And I feel saver shooting my reloads in a all steel gun. Glocks and and MPs were a little picky on reloads. Has served me well for 25 or so years. Heavy yes ,reiable yes.

Either my kimber or my HK. Doesn't matter to me cause I've always got one or the other on me.

I'm confused by that comment as well. I don't like Glock, probably will never own one, but they are great guns.

Who wants a rattling Kimber anyway??? Way better 1911 then them! If I had to have a pistol that I had to depend on for rest my life be a glock and I'm not even a huge fan but they are dependable

Rich what would you recommend? Want a conceal gun, but hate the ones that barely fit in your hand.. Id rather an XDS size, but that would conceal easily.

I like the xds, shield, or glock! Nothing wrong with getting a good deal though. I have a glock 26 now with a frame reduction so it fits better that is pistol I tote these days. But the best feeling pistol I have is an h&k p30

Comptac minotaur or crossbreed supertuck. I prefer the comptac due to the kydex clips over the steel of the crossbreed. Any of the "hybrid" leather and kydex holsters are pretty comfortable.

Brasso, don't waste your money on a Taurus when you can get a Gen 3 Glock for $500 brand new...,

I'm gonna do you a favor and tell you a setup you can buy once, enjoy long term, and hide under any clothing. Get a Gen 3 Glock 26 or 27. Order a Milt Sparks Summer Special II from Brownell's for $99. Spend $70 and get a good quality gun belt. You can't go much cheaper than that and still have comfortable, concealable, and dependable.

Crews then u know what I'm talking about!!!
Everybody says p30 cost to much but then u go buy glock and have frame work done not much more to go a head and get the h&k

Brasso I would recommend the g26 and get a wilderness tactical belt, where one everyday!

As far as the 1911 debate goes, that's like asking someone what kind of ice cream they like. Tons of fine 1911's on the market. I have a Springfield custom and a Colt and they're both nice in their own way. The Kimber isn't what it used to be in my opinion. There's a list of guys who build their own flavor of 1911 any way you could want it but you'll pay for it...

Like I mentioned before, I carry a S&W Shield .40 in a custom holster I had built locally by a guy. It's super comfortable. I wear it year round and have it in a few different colors. It costs half as much as those Kydex/leather jobs. It's also ambidextrous. Works wether you're a lefty or righty. I can carry my LCP, Shield, and a full size XDm in the same holster as well.... I'm not a big fan of Kydex simply because if you really wear one every single day, it's going to beat up your gun's finish. I know carrying in any holster will cause wear. But I'd rather have some high spots rubbed to a sheen than scratches... I oil the inside of my leather once a month or so and it is butter soft.

Here's my carry rig...
