The most I've ever hit in my 16 GDLT on a 1436 alumacraft with pods with a K&N filter and brand new 9x5 prop was 18 MPH with just me in it. and I felt like I was FLYING! I cant believe how fast some of you guys are going, and want more! you guys are nuckin futs

I run a older balanced MB hyper balanced, single Minkuni with iron heads, marsh mello exhaust. on a 1854 GT (around 800 ish pounds just boat) with tunnel it was about 26 mph (fastest speed, hat backwards) before I smoked my 36" out-drive! Now Mud Buddy dose not make 36" out-drive only 32" and I am not in the same clean water so I think I have lost some performance. I am really thinking of filling in the Tunnel but all we run is sand and I think it saves my prop!

My rig hit 32.1 (gps) once at the SETX run in Feb 11. This was shallow water w/ me, wife, dog and cooler of beer. Same day we were 31.7 in the river. I thought my garmin was lying.
I am like some others on here and don't ever run w/ out some load. Hell I'm a load by myself.

Everyone who listed went fast enough to escape most oncoming bad weather if they needed to. Hydrodynamics certainly favors the narrow hull too, something not lost on any. Curious, any running tunnels or variations thereof?

Gotcha, I was just curious cause I don't have near as much as you have done and run 36 at 4350-4400. I know you can run faster than that I was just wounder if it was because of the boat or prop that was making your like that

Put 3 people in my boat and was running 36 at 4700RPMs with the other cam

With this lilbitty cam i ran 36 and some change with 2 people and a dog with a worn prop
