Re: AR 15 what you got I have a DPMS AP4 in 308. After getting this I sold my .223 guns. My DPMS is heavy but it shoots great. If you hunt at night with a Scope you have to cut the Front Sight off, I liked it so well I actually bought a spare. If I ever buy another it will be a R25 Remington which is actually made by DPMS. You will find that the Scopes that are calibrated for the .223 guns will match the 308 as well. The 308 will do anything a 223 will do just a little better.
