Still Fishing For Answers, Dream Boat
Good to hear ur back in action Phil, happy Father's Day btw!
On a boat that size I would definitely go CC. You can get single engine with reliable mods to push that rig just fine. I've seen dual tiller setups, it can be done but I can imagine it would get old. Go for the comfort man, cc with a big block stage 1 and U will be in business!
Is Daniel building your boat?

Re: Still Fishing For Answers, Dream Boat
Krogers, not sure who will be building the boat but I do have permission from my accountant "the wife" lol. She gave me about a 30k budget so depending on the dollar exchange between 27 and 28k US. When I was first looking I really liked a build Daniel did and he was a great help with all my questions I am sure the man can build anything you ask of him, his work is great. I just hope I can work out the logistics with a smaller custom builder being so far away. I did have someone else in mind but I feel I came off as more of a bother and waste of his time than anything else so I believe I have dismissed that avenue.
Before my plan was a 19x54 with a stage 2 GTR and a build very similar to Daniel's VooDoo project for AR guide.

There are more boats with a single motor than duals. I hunt out of mine and it's fine for 3 guys and I have and extended deck with a homemade pop up blind

Re: Still Fishing For Answers, Dream Boat
I know it is said that a tiller rig will be more capable of working bad situations but on the other hand I have been thinking it would be nice to have the best boat all around for use in the off hunting season. A CC rig would make for nicer easier playing around in the lake with the kids in the summer.
The more I think the more I change my frigging mind, I better stay off this site.

Re: Still Fishing For Answers, Dream Boat
So many options and for me I can not see any of them in person makes it just that much harder to decide. I guess if it wasn't for the internet I wouldn't even know these type of boats, motors and builders were out there.
