Instead of appealing, the decision, time and money would be better spent coming up with something else that would be unique enough to patent and further the brand---get more customers and following, then make money. The handle control wouldnt be that bad if they would just move the trim switch. Thats really the only thing thats a pain to reach back for. Im not promoting the sport v but gatortail should really look at the trim switch they are using. Mounts in the end of the handle. That would be a nice improvement for them.

The idea of contesting the patent/invention is almost a moot point with so many peckerwoods now trying to build surface drives.

These motors still have a shade tree backyard build look to them after 10-15 years.

There is the possibility that the concept of the MM Sport V and the Boss H model may raise the bar, others will follow and customers will benefit.
