Post subject:  Tool Box

Just looking through my tool box that is in my boat and was wondering what you guys carry. I have screwdrivers, pliars, wire cutters, etc, along with all my wire connectors. Anything else you guys have on board?

Thanks,

RyanD

Seems from what I have read you might want to carry a spare key!

HAHA....Like I said, I have the basic tools and all the required boating equipment. Just checking to see if there was anything on the engine that I should carry extra of.

Motor is metric- for the stuff you will do on the water a 8, 10, 12, 13 mm wrench (17mm for a mikuni fuel bowl), flat (large and small), phillips and T30 Torx screwdrivers, needle nose and regular pliers, small crescent wrench, metric allen wrenches, plug wrench and spare plug/s, prop wrench or socket, elec tape, spare fuses (if you have them), a long length of wire and wiring diagram (allows you to bypass or reverse failed switches if needed), spare fuel filter, a small spool of twine, and a knife.

I also carry a spare prop and a primer bulb with a length of line and hose clamps (I don't run with a primer bulb but have one in the box if required). Spare lighter, some fire starter, a small folding saw.
