I`m wondering if a {NO} Full Power Reverse, can be converted to FPR?
And if it can, how much trouble is it. And what are some basic Pro`s and con`s. This would be a 2008- 36Hp- short transom model.

I've never done it but know folks who have and say its fairly easy as long as you have the right tools

Easy as pie

Took me about 1.5 hours that was doing it by myself.

That means that a mere mortal, i.e. anyone other than me, it shouldn't take any longer than 3-4 hours.

Its whatever the FPR option on PD's website is. I believe its 475. Not hard to do. Would highly recommend it.

Would this conversion require a whole new ,and different lower unit?
Or would it be same unit , just different components that could be changed out?

Did it 2 years ago on a buddys motor and if i remember right all it is the adaptor kit. hardest part it gettin the power head off. Other than that it just bolts in place.
