What kinda speeds have you guys hit with those? Any idea? And do you have any mods done at all? If so what, and do they make a difference? Mine will be here in a week and just want some ideas of what works and what doesn't if they are modded at all. Any input would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks |

my cousin has a 1660 gator tail boat with 35 GTR stage 1. i know for fact with just me and him and normal boat gear (205+90 LBS) his boat was running between 29-31 mph depending on the way we were bucking the current. now when we added a little weight (dekes, dog, stuff to go to camp) she ran a solid 26-27 which is pretty good i would say b/c we had the mofo loaded up pretty tight. not sure what it ran stock. |

Mine ran right at 30 mph stock with 2 peeps. With Stage 1 mods, I have bumped 32 by myself but the difference in power is where the money went!! I didn't do the mods for speed. |

What do the Stage 1 mods consist of? Who do I get them from, is there more than one company that carries them? What do they generally cost to do? |

Generally stage 1 is either heads/cam/exhaust or heads/carb/exhaust. EVT or Hoyt at gatortail for a "stage 1". MB also has their own line of performance parts and dealers who install... |

x2 to what CB said, with the addition to my stage one heads, cam, exhaust, i have a timing advance, and a modded stock carb. other than that, thats pretty much your basic stage one. |
