just bought a 23 LA mud special. didnt ask for a cavitation plate , but they put it on anyway. is this gonna cause a problem getting it down when im stuck. oor do I need to make them remove it. I pick it up next monday

You should be fine with cav plate. It actually is suppose to prevent the prop from blowing out of the mud when you are running. I have ran my boat with and with out and honestly in the vegatation it helped keep it in the water but other than that I didnt notice a huge difference.
