i got a 27 pd and ima looking to get new boat. ive been looking and dont know if i should get 18 ft or 17 ft. i want to run with 3 people or four . please help me out and if you have 27 pd tell what you run it on . |

my opinion would be at least 18 preferably 20. I have a 20' and when i run with my friends with 18's they might be 1-2 mph faster than me unloaded, but put a load and the 20 really excels 2-3 mph faster than the 18 loaded. If load carryings your thing, 3-4 people live with the couple mph less IMO. Now if you hunt tight timber that might be a different story. |

i dont hunt with it all i use it for is to freshwater or salwater fish and to go froggin. a 20 ft. boat is kinda long the trailer i have will only fit up to 18 ft boat. |
