Exactly what anchor are you speaking of? I use a cajun anchor and love it. |

I believe he's referring to the motorized ones that mount on the back of the boat. Google Power pole. sent using tapatalk while smoking a cigarette, messing with the radio, and texting while driving all at once. |

yea i know of the power poles.. those are real nice but pricey, not something i would put on a mudmotor rig, but would shuck out the cash for one to put on a bay boat or a setup like that. |

I stopped by GT about 1.5 months ago and there was this fella there that had the powerpole on a CC. Talk about a nice setup. |

After i get a new motor for the bass boat twin power poles is next on the list. Fished in a boat with them and I'll promise you that youll want some if you ever get the chance to fish with them. |

I think he's talkin about a deal that's similar to a spud pole, but made from some type of composite. Looks like an Excel spud pole, but only about 3/4" diameter. Can be used like a spud pole or a cajun anchor. |

The power poles will hold hard bottom, mud, rock piles, you name it. I'm going toput some spud poles on my boat this summer, I absolutely loath messing with an anchor. |

If u want to buy one, stick-it anchor pins look nice. I have 2 90 hp yamaha prop shafts welded together with an eye that I use 4 anchoring in shallow water. U can make 1 wif a piece of PVC also. |

Stick it pins, that's what I was talkin about. They're not hollow like pvc, they're solid & actaully kinda heavy for their size. |

my pops just bought the talon made by minn kota. mechanical pole like a power pole but's it's electric so it's quiet and deploys 2x's faster. it's really nice. not practical for a hunting boat though. it has a lot of features that the power pole doesn't come with or you have to pay extra for. |

Or you can hang out with your Wang out! www.wanganchor.com I just stake out using my stiffy (push pole), but would love twin powerpoles. |

Instead of paying big bucks for a Stick-IT or Wang I make my own out of 3/4" fiberglass rod. You can get 10' sections at Grainger for less than $30. A piece of dowel rod or similar makes a great handle. Nathan |

I'm actually fixing to buy the 8 ft. stick it from keith at Daley's hunt and fish, he carries all that stuff and they come with mounts that mount to your boat instead of using rope its just like a spud pole ony you don't have holes in your boat , very very nice setup |

Seems like a MB would make a great anchor since they are allways stuck in shallow water anyway. |
