Duralux aluminum boat paint seems to be pretty popular. Only come's in one color, but it's pretty much an olive drab. Does not require a primer which is nice... |

Bayoublack... The Duralux is a bit more expensive, but you do NOT have to Prime.. So, with that said, it takes half the time, and you save money on primer.. |

If I were you I would paint it tan. Tan is much much easier to hide than that old dark od green. |

http://www.nextag.com/bottompaint/m736/seller-html That is the link on where you can get the Duralux. They have only one color of the "Aluminum Boat Paint" which is a no-primer paint-and as they put it "with a vinyl type coating". Dark Green Only. This is the M736 that some boat builders use. Geaux used it I know. Then they have three colors in the Camouflage paint- Dead Grass Green, Pirouge Green, and Duck Boat Drab. This paints requires a primer coat. They have pretty good instructions on what to do to prep and best ways to paint. You can click the links and see a color sample of all. Good luck |

Do any of yall know the radio of how much thinner to add to the alum boat green to spray it? |

Check their website. I want to say the instructions say it is not recommended to thin, but it tells you how and what to use if you want to do it anyway. |

DO NOT USE THE PARKERS DUCK BOAT GREEN FROM CABELAS!!!!!! The finish is soo flat on my boat it resembles a green chalkboard. everything that touches the hull leaves a white scratch |

When he said aluminum boat green, I was assuming he was talking about the duralux paint. If that ain't what you were talkin bout T-bub, disregard my previous post. |
