I don't think 28ft but 22-25 yeh gonna be interesting. IMO this it'll be good for the basin to get flushed but bad for Morgan city |

I assume Houma & Morgan City have some sort of levees surrounding them. What will happen or could possibly happen to those cities when Morganza opens? |

if morganza is opened and it will be on saturday the height will be 27.75 on may 24-25 @ butte la rose. |

Just received phone call that revised estimate of crest for Butte Larose will now be only 24Ft.!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great news!!!!!!!! |

If that is the case and turns out to be the actual crest that is great news. I hope that also lowers the anticipated impacts for people all down stream from there in Stephensville, Belle River, and that entire Lake verret region. Ihave two brothers and a sister with camps and they are stiing on pins and needles. I work with a bunch of people from Pierre Part and its just a waiting game for everybody with their homes. Not that it matters, but do they have an understanding of why the revision other than people saying the drought is soaking thinks up? I don't buy that explanation. |
