 Newbie Needing help
I'm looking to get a sd motor. I have a 1652 express and have been told that a sd won't perform on my boat but that I need a "mud boat" . Is this true and why? Also what is the best made sd out there? I'm wanting a big motor so I'll have some speed. Plan on having somthing new before next duck season.

 Re: Newbie Needing help
You want a flat bottom boat, and the most HP motor you can afford. They all cost alot of money so go demo all of them and buy the one you like the most.

 Re: Newbie Needing help
your boat will work for now untill you can afford a better hull.
a friend of mine has a 15ft with a 36pd and it does good. You just cant put as much weight in them and they dont slide in mud and lillies like a flat bottom does.
