 WinchI was looking at putting a winch on the front of my boat. What size winch do you think would be the best. I was looking at the 4000 lb.

Re: Winch had a 2000 on my last boat, it worked fine. 4000 would be the cats azz. Especially with a snatch block.
Probably going to get one of those Gorilla 2500 models this time, they go for about $100 including freight and the roller fairlead. The four wheeler forums seem to like them.. |

Re: Winch That is the kind I was looking at Gorilla 3000 or 4000. With the new blue rope. I heard the new rope is bad ass. The go for about $200.

Re: Winch I saw a cheap camo winch at Harbor Freight that even had a wireless remote. I have a warn 1700 that does the job.
