Post up if you are not a boat builder by trade but have built a boat for your personal use. Seeing duckhunter's boat got me wondering how many have taken on a project like this. Include pics of it too. Duck did a heck of a job on his. That takes talent and balls. That's a lot of money and time invested in something that could be a big paperweight if not planned and executed correctly. Sent from my iPhone 5 |

here's mine 14 foot with pod. all plywood/fiberglass, built fromt plans gotten from gator boats. powered by a 6.5 hp harbor frieght clone long tail. |

I've made four plate boats and quite a few trailers and don't have a dam picture of any of them! The boats I built are for commercial fishing and are to heavy for mudmotors. Since I'm so close to Muddoctor, I just started buying his phowler boats instead of spending the time to build my own. Still build the trailers for em tho! |
