They are fairly new to the surface drive market. Took a look at one at cabela's last week, and they don't look that bad. They have a cast belt housing. Also a similar trim system to mud buddy. They offered the 40 kohler which was a flop. Definitely not the same business as when Mark Fisher had it. Mag10 |

They are over prices mud buddy and go devil they are basically a nock off of mud buddy for more money if it was between mud buddy or beavertail is a mud buddy in a heart beat |

Beavertail copied mud buddy's design, then cut corners on it resulting in a cheap replica of crapier quality. However, they did this after mud buddy copied gator-tail's design, then cut corners on it resuling in a cheap replica of crapier quality. So basicaly beavertail is the harbor frieght version of a surface drive. |
