I'm looking at purchasing a good pocket knife. I want a decent knife in the 50-100$ range. I want something that keeps a good edge and is easy to sharpen. I like Bench Made. Are they really worth it? What are you guys using? It seems as if they have a million to choose from. |

Benchmade, Spyderco, and Cold Steel. You can get a good Cold Steel knife in that price range. Check http://www.poorfish.com/c-41-knives.aspx . He usually has good prices, and lots of promotions. |

Kershaw tanto half serrated assisted opening. At academy or Wally world for about $50. Had it for years and best knife for the money. I have bunch of other brands including 2 benchmade auto folders. The blades are awesome but they are not as rugged as some others. I rather carry my kershaw as my go too knife. |

If you're too big a cheapass to spend $70 on a Case, might as well not even look at Benchmade. A knife is a tool, worth it to spend some dollars and get a good one. |

Like I told the woman behind me in line as I was buying a log, "Sure is a lot of money to just spit on the ground, ain't it?". And the shells, well, they just go up in smoke. ![]() |

I carry Kershaw clip knives every day. I have a spring open benchmade and a Spyderco engraved knife I won at a roping and never carry. All are good knives. For the money the Kershaw is a good purchase. It don't hurt to lose it quit as bad. ![]() |
