I'm looking to get a new gun. I think I have my heart set on the Benelli Vinci, but I also like the Beretta Xtrema, and Beretta A400

I hear alot more about the Xtrema, but I know Benelli builds a quality gun also.

Just looking to see what you guys shoot.

Xtrema 2 owned one benelli auto and will never own another. The Vinci feels like an air rifle to me. Have you looked at the beretta a400 xplore

X2 on the new A400 the ad is a joke but that gun is awesome. My bud bought one. I have an xtrema 2 and love it

I've shot an Xtrema 2 for four years.. hellofa gun! Just bought an A400 Xtrema. Shot it last week at a European shoot, seems faster than the Xtrema 2 and has minimal recoil. I think it's gonna be a good gun.

I went to my local gun shop today and handled the Benelli Vinci...Super Vinci...and the SBE2.

I'm seriously considering the Super Vinci. The guy that owns the shop said it's by far the smoothest shooting/cycling gun he's EVER handled.

The Vinci and Super Vinci DO NOT use gas to cycle....which substaintially reduces...if not all together eliminates the need to clean the action on a regular basis. I'm not sure if the SBE2 operates the same way or not...I didn't ask. The only real difference's between the Vinci and Super Vinci or the trigger guard design...the safety switch size...and the fact that the Super Vinci shoots 3 1/2" shells. The Vinci line will also cycle any size load...whereas most others will not.

Pretty amazing how fast it breaks down also.

anyone who tells you you don't need to clean your gun because it's an inertia gun is full of crap, my Beretta doesn't require any more cleaning than my Benelli

Yeah i know they are all good guns..especially sinice they are in the $1700 range

I'll probably just wait till after the season to decide. My $300 870 express hasn't let me down in 12 seasons. It'll make another.

Get the a400 xplore. By far nicest shotgun I've ever shot

I have an Xtrema 2 and a sbe. A friend just picked up one of those new a400's but I haven't shot it. My Xtrema has less recoil than my sbe and that's without a kickoff which will be installed shortly.

I picked up my camo Xtrema 2 for 999.00 brand new with kickoff it would have been 1299. My buddy got one camo with kickoff from buds for 1300 a few months ago. If you look you can find some good deals on them.

Man not to jack up ur thread but all my buddys shoot high dollar shotguns and i could bring myself to pay that kind of money for a shootgun so i started doing my research and this is what i came up with Excell Auto Waterfowl edition and the reason i did is cause of an article or 2 or 3 that i read about them and the price was awsome just my cheap 2 cents LOL So just cause the price tag is high and the name brand is there dont mean u cant find a quality gun for way cheaper!! ans so far so good i have not had any problems yet with it and i paid 526 out the door for a auto!!

between my dad, brother, and me there is a benelli M2,SBE,SBEII, vinci, and one Beretta Xtrema 2 in the safe and dad is looking to add another, either the xtrema2 or an xtreme A400. i shoot the xtrema 2 with the kick off system and the recoil is alot less than any of the benelli's we have. I dont plan on ever owning anything else but a beretta, next on my list is the A400

I just ordered the Urika 2, cuz I don't shoot 3 1/2s. 28" barrel, max4 camo, without the kick off. 799$ out the door. We'll see if it makes me want to hang the SBE2 up.

I recently bought a beretta 3901. 530$ brand new. So far it's been great. Shot it for teal season and had zero problems. Really easy to tear down and clean and at that price I'm not worried about getting it wet, muddy etc

Yes it's a 390 but s good gun!! I will say this I also bought my other boy a mossburg auto and for under 400 it shoot well !!

I had a 935 and liked it just wasn't sure how long it Wouk last so switched to the beretta. Let me know if you ever wanna sell the 390. I prefer that style receiver to the 391/3901 receiver

I shoot a Beretta Urika 2 and have loved every second of it thus far. Shoots 7/8 low brass for clays and 3" steel and hasn't stopped yet....knock on wood. Med hows that thing pattern w a 24" barrel?

Shoots good. Just a lil louder according to some. I can't tell a difference though. Love a short gun qnd how they swing. This is my 5th and can't see changing. Had a stoeger, 390, 391,935, and now another 390 with a 24". They quick swingin.

Yeah that is a lot of dough for a gun. I will probably drop it though. I've been shooting an 870 for about 12 years now. It will probably be the last gun i buy for another 12 years. If you look at it that way, It doesn't seem so bad. I think I will upgrade. That A400 sure looks sweet.

For myself its all about how the gun shoulders. Sure you know a lot about that one. Every model you will find a person who hates it because it messed up.

Berettas never shouldered good for me, always went with benelli. But when I shot the xplor it actually shouldered just as well and shot twice as good. Doesent get much better imo than that gun, but to each there own

I actually didn't like the way my buddies Xtrema fit me. They changed the grip on the Xtrema 2 and I liked it. I got a hell of deal on a SBE2 but didn't like the way it shouldered so I sold it without running a round through it. My old SBE fits me damn good but it just got too unreliable so I retired it.

The xplor is almost a combination of the sbe and extrema 2 when shouldering. Blain you very correct, it's a very good gun. I don't see any others even competing with that gun.
