I want to build a good dog ramp that the dog can get up on his own. Possibly strong enough for me to use too if necessary. Any ideas or pics? PS I run him off the bow when we hunt out of the boat. |

I bought one from Mackspw.com works good I have modified it so that it will slide into my receiver hitch making deep water re-entries into the boat a breeze for Sadie. |

I cut two peices of alum. square tubing and welded them on the inside of the gunnel on each side of the bow. The ladder just slips into the brackets so I can hunt either side of the boat. The ladder bracket is just a J type with steps like a ladder made to the length you think you need. It is heavy duty enough to use as an access point. |

I like the Avery Double Duty. Dog could get in and out by his self. Now I have a brief case dog. ![]() |

Bro-n-law took 2 pieces of plywood about 2'x4' & loosely tied them together on the ends. One piece goes in the water & the other in the boat. Sent from my Commando |

That would be no problem except I am in North Africa for the next two months. I hope to be home Christmas for a couple of weeks. If you like, send me a Phone number and I can call with the set up. Skype is a wonderful thing!!! Sprig |

I use this one, just hang it over the transom. Got everything set and welded the legs so it only takes 5 sec. to move it. http://www.edgebyexpedite.com/store/dog-ladder.html |
