I am looking for a centrifugal clutch with a 1-7/16 inch bore thats rated for at least 25hp. I am having a hard time finding one that big and its holding up my mud motor build. Thanks |

Unless anyone has a good idea on how to build the drive? Im not sure how good it would be not having a neutral. What about a long shaft motor, they are direct drive if im not mistaken. Just a u joint hooked up to the shaft? Any ideas would be helpfull. |

You can put the pulley straight to the shaft and pick the prop out of the water for neutral. If you want a clutch, get an electric toggle clutch.. A centrifugal wont be good for just Idling around and loading it down at low rpms. |

I thought about an electric clutch but wasnt sure how long it would last. Im probably gona have to just go with a pulley set up. found a centrifugal clutch thats rated for my motor but its $400. Thanks for the help. |

All these motors that have neutral have electric clutches |
