I am looking for a centrifugal clutch with a 1-7/16 inch bore thats rated for at least 25hp. I am having a hard time finding one that big and its holding up my mud motor build. Thanks

Unless anyone has a good idea on how to build the drive? Im not sure how good it would be not having a neutral. What about a long shaft motor, they are direct drive if im not mistaken. Just a u joint hooked up to the shaft? Any ideas would be helpfull.

You can put the pulley straight to the shaft and pick the prop out of the water for neutral.

If you want a clutch, get an electric toggle clutch.. A centrifugal wont be good for just Idling around and loading it down at low rpms.

I thought about an electric clutch but wasnt sure how long it would last. Im probably gona have to just go with a pulley set up. found a centrifugal clutch thats rated for my motor but its $400. Thanks for the help.
