Wassup fools! Been a long time since I've been on here. Sold my PD and hull and bought a 90/65 jet and have been catching OPs and killing stuff. Anyway, we got a spot this year that is a pure mud flat at low tide. We got a long way with the jet but I'm not trying to blow up a 2 year old outboard. We've got to get about 5-600 yards and whatchyall think about a little longtail for a kicker motor? This is my hull... I know it won't plane the hull I just need to putt along to get in and out if the tide leaves us. We can still kill birds even when it's a mud flat I just don't want to wait 12 hours to go home. Come on FE's don't let me down. ![]() |

It will help, but a longtail aint gonna push that over straight mud. If ya got enough water to push it wit a kicker, ya should be able to run it with dat jet motor. |

Where would you put it? Looks like the whole transom is built up way too high for a lt to perform to me |
