Got a 1436 Cajun Special with a Yamaha 20 OB, and Im in need of a mud motor. The boat sits a bit low in the back with the 115# Yamaha, so I know I need a lightwieght motor but I also want some speed and power. I do realize I will have to sacrifice one way or the other. My research so far has led me to the 18hp Copperhead which wieghs about 135#. If anyone has experienced this sort of issue your advice is greatly appreciated. thanks. |

MB 7000 and hang on tight. Nah man a copperhead would be the ticket for you IMO. |

You should just build up the transom so you can hang a good 23hp on the back... |
