2060 GD boat with a 35 GDSD.

5 dudes on it today probably running about 18 out to the flats and when we got to the skinny stuff we didnt have any problems. hit the flats and shoved the prop down and motored our way out of tons of sticky stuff. was being super timid but put her in some crazy situations and she was a champ with a crazy load. was the best day and the first day really running my first mud rig and im MORE than fucking hooked.

hard bottom wasnt feeling it.

bowriding on the way back in

theres some video of the fun stuff but man what a blast. been waiting for this for a couple of years now. ADDICTION

It's not a certain dress code that dictates. For example, your case is just bad judgement

If you could stand in that bottom, with water that shallow, I'd be willing to bet your prop is shot.

Post subject:  Re: my new (used) rig is a champ

i was saying that about that prop as well. i have 4 spares and was going to compare them to check it out. its all a learning experience for me, but i also think it may have to do with having a 5 man load. the bottom we were standing on was def hard though. we got in there through the mud but had issues when it hit the hard bottom. we def had other issues with hard bottom as well.

i know that it will chew up a prop and ill learn more as i run more, im just super excited to be getting out in it and seeing what she can do.

well there are 4 spares sitting in my storage. no worries. I guess pitch isnt much of a factor here? haha. They are all three blade that I do know.

In regards of your partying platform I'm not sure if guys are allowed. If I had one it would be full of bitches. I don't know what 3 blades measure. Most people I believe run 12 pitches

You will enjoy the platform when your driving long distance. Easy to lean back on it an relax while you drive.

Post subject:  Re: my new (used) rig is a champ

not worried about Coe filming me. Ive been in more precarious situations on all but one continent. I can handle getting stuck in some mud. whats up orchard towers. If I am on land I am there. We will all drink beer and whiskey and get dirty.

Hey third coast, my rig stays in bayou vista and i ride that marsh all the time. Shoot me a PM and lets set up a ride.
There are 3 or 4 of us (various brands) that ride that area often.

Congrats on the rig.

Yawn......... No excuses now Kylie, you better be there at Port Neches :D

18 MPH isn't bad, I ran 27 with 5 guys on Saturday going down the ICW.

3CK- let's go ride clear lake that area drops and the mud flats are BAD ARSE! Just off Hwy 3 and nasa rd 1 I forget where we launched last time I've only been there once & it was 2 years ago.

Post subject:  Re: my new (used) rig is a champ

I will tentatively be in town on Saturday the 4th and I could get down with hitting some mud with yall. Im looking at getting a house in Bayou Vista or the Clear Lake area as well.

Coe if im not offshore ill be out there. And the speeds i got are without any mods and my boat is a little bigger so Im not complaining at all. The instructor at the school im at right now already fucked with me about the GD cause he has a GTR. cant escape it haha.
