Post another PD plug
I've owned a PD for 4 years now, & I've had nothing but exceptional service. This weekend, I experienced yet another dose of this type service that I thought I'd share.

My motor just died Friday afternoon. From wide open to dead stop. Then it wouldn't turn over. Batt connections good, kill switch, neutral switch, all good. Couldn't figure it out.

Saturday about 1100, I called the PD shop in hopes that somebody was in. KP answered. We discussed it, & eventually Brian called me back as he was more familiar with the electrical system.

Here it is a Saturday, approaching lunchtime, one of the owners of the company starts talking me through a complete diagnostic check of my electrical system. We were able to isolate the problem to a bad wire/fuse link and get it goin again. I spent upwards of 2 hours on the phone with them, & they made sure that I was in good shape before I hung up.

Did I mention that it was a Saturday at lunchtime, and that it was the company owners that helped me?? How many other shops would have just asked me a few routine questions and then said "bring it in"?

I call that service.

Anyway, I just wanted to publicly say thanks guys.

there is a inline fuse that goes into the ignition box think for the key switch...when I replaced m clutch after it fried the motor wouldn't turn over and all connections were good and all it was was the inline fuse...and its a old cylinder type fuse...may or may not be the same thing he's talkin bout but thats just a little info for those out there who didnt know that

Peck has done the same thing for me as well before, just something about them Cajuns.
Might be a good idea to keep PDs phone number in your celll phone for situtations like this.

another plug for prodrive custermer service.

my trim winch stripped out on the levee in route to a fishing trip today. it was 5:15pm on friday and i pulled in to the prodrive shop as everyone was leaving.

Brian Provost walked up to the boat, walked into the shop, and walked out of the shop with what i needed in 2 minutes. i was swapped out and running in time to go fishing.

you can't beat that with a stick. :)
