i have a 1442 flat jon very light and need a good running surface drive for when it gets shallow....no mud and don't need a mud hull for what i do....are the coppereads a good quality motor and what kind of speeds should i expect running solo? i've seen videos of them doing 25-27 with 2 people in an all welded boat...

DAMN! i weigh about 230 and i hunt with a very light load, i hate all gadgets so i usually only have about a dozen decoys and my 75lb british brown beast....thanks for the info, the copperhead seems like my best choice.

Go for it, it won't be the perfect rig... But ittl work!

I've seen a 18 copperhead step a 3 man load on a hull that size.
