Post subject:  transome height for GTR
i just picked up a 35 GTR and i already have a 16x48 GD boat. the transom on the boat is 15". For a tall transom GTR it needs to be 20"? what would be the best route to correct this? have an aluminum block welded on top of my existing transom or have a bracket made to hang it on? also is there a more optimal height for the transom ie like 21" or 22"

Should be a square measurement just plumb bob the tape from top of transom to a strait edge off bottom of boat!! It don't have to be perfect just close
