Post Needin some help on a hyper drive project
I just bought two mb hyper drive frames no motors two basket cases. They originally came with 31hp briggs I want to mount a 35 briggs in place of it. What I need is a detailed manual or pdf file of the motor. They are both 2006 models with 32" shafts. I need a detailed manual or some good pics of an assembled motor and where all these parts mount. They also have the power trim with one good unit between the two. So if possable help a brother out with some info. I just sold my 25 GD longtail yesterday and I don't want to be without a motor come spring. Thanks in advance for any information ya'll can pass my way.

There are no manuals or pdf files for a complete engine. The only pdf files that they have are of specific items like the lower drive and transom assembly.

What model hyper do you have? I may have one in my yard that I can snap some pics of depending on what model frame you actually have.

If you dont know which model you have, post up a pic and I'll identify it for you.

It's a 2006 frame without a clutch and a 32" outdrive. It came new with a 31 hp briggs. I have been pming back and forth with dfou and he's sent me some great pictures but the more the merrier. Never to much info for me. One may show something the other doesn't.

I have another question; should I get one of the belt tension tools I see advertised on mb page? All i've ever ran for a mud motor was my gd longtail with a 25 kohler.
