Post subject: | Re: WTF |
Tighten them with a wrench. Those sparks means there is a bad connection while there is draw |

X2 on tighten. I had the same problem. Get you some high quality posts with with dual connection points. Isolate starter cable on one. Accessory and trim on another. You're terminals should not be hot to touch. If they are your connection is too loose. |

Send a pm to Coe. He'll do a documentary video detailing exactly how to connect a battery & post it for you. ![]() Just FTR, if you can grab the cable like that in the 1st vid & twist the terminal, it aint tight, it aint even "pretty tight" |

The tiny tach is always "on". It has its own battery and will stay on even if you remove it from the motor. |

I tightend it with a wrench so if it happens again I will do wat y'all told be to do. It might have just been that the connections were loose. But I appreciate all the help and advise! On another note, Lookin at putting a marahmellow exhaust soon. Also will do the cam and all that later on. But exhaust is first. I live about 10 min from gator tail and personally know Kyle n them. Should I Let them do the exhaust or is there a certain person around my area that could do it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

buy it and put it on yourself... bring the motor to get serviced at GT and be damned sure you make them check the valve lash... lots of new motors burning valves edit(briggs problem, not a gatortail problem) |

Buying t from gatortail that is 15 minutes from your house is easier than ordering online regardless of if you install yourself. How you figure it would be cheaper to let gt install is beyond me. |

Some people shouldn't own boats, lol On the other hand make sure all connections are tight, if all are tight always check fuse, its 80% of the problem most of the time. People always forget to check the fuse! Glad you got it going! |
