Need some info on MudBuddy mini's...
Ok guys i sold my mini 23 to upgrade to the 27 or 35 mini. I wanna hear some info on the differences between these. Compared speeds power increases/decreases. I will be running it on my alumacraft 1648 rivited square front. I know it can handle it. I've ran longtails (20,31,35) and a prodrive 27 on my previous alumacraft. (1648 MV rivited)

No comparison needed...if you can afford the 35 GET the 35...and that statement goes for EVERY brand.
I had a 27 on my 1648 and it was a dog...35 makes me happy on the inside.
Not that much weight difference in the 27 and 35 units i don't think but there is a BIG difference in the amount of weight you can push!.

The 27 Mini is actually the Mini HD Lite, the 35 Mini is the LA Special. If you're even remotely considering the 27, go slam your hand in the door right now. It lacks the torque needed to haul more than 2 at a time, or any other heavy load.

GSUrugger I'd like to know anything and everything you can tell me about the 35 compared to my old 23. Obviously faster and stronger but how does it handle compared to the 23/27?? I see it's designed abit different. Any bad tendencies?? I could run 19 mph with me 200lbs, buddy 150lbs and my lab 80lbs, without a hunting load.

Did you have a 23 Mini "LA Special" or Mini HD Lite? 2 completely different frame designs. Mini HD Lite has plastic cover on top of belt housing & only comes with manual trim with 27" outdrive. LA Special has 32" outdrive, clutch, & power trim standard on it. The 23 LA Special will out run & out perform a 27 Mini HD Lite, I know this 1st hand. The LA Special is gonna be heavier than the Mini Lite regardless because of the different frame design & power trim.

What did you have to hear?
Few guys in SETX run 23GT's and seem to like them.
If you are looking for a MB message DoatDr or call him. I just bought my 35HD from them in the middle of duck season...i didn't miss a weekend.
